Can a Keychain Be Multi-functional?

Before getting my hands on the Swiss+Tech multi-functional keychain, I really had a hard time imagining what kind of multi-functional designs I could incorporate into a keychain. I couldn’t make it too heavy, I couldn’t make its size too large, and I couldn’t make its structure overly complicated. There were quite a lot of limitations. However, after getting the Squirrel 6-in-1 keychain, I have to say that it’s definitely worth recommending.

The key components are all made of 3Cr13. It’s quite impressive that this material can keep the weight under 53 grams. When we close it, its overall length is 86 mm, and when we open it, it’s 125 mm. The size when closed for hanging is not too big, and it feels just right when you use it. We enlarge and thicken the flying saucer-shaped heavy-duty rivets, which makes the connection stronger and more solid.Once opened, it can function as a small flathead screwdriver, a hook knife, a serrated knife, a box cutter, and a bottle opener. And the tail can be used as a hanging hook. It’s truly a 6-in-1 multi-functional keychain.

Besides having multiple functions, it also deserves praise for how easy it is to use. We cover the handle with a fine-textured matte cover. The meticulous polishing increases the friction, so it won’t slip out of your hand when you’re using it. The open blade slot design makes the structure more flexible, and it’s quite easy to clean. The curvature of the blade tip is just right. It’s neither too short and thus not sharp and handy enough, nor too long to cut the contents inside a box. With a standard bottle opener, it’s a piece of cake to open a soda when you’re out for a meal.We need to pay extra attention to detail to design such multi-functional small tools well.

It’s lightweight, compact, and multi-functional enough, with solid materials and a great texture. We can rate this multi-functional keychain 90 out of 100!
