Tomoyuki Nemoto is a modern master of knife making in Japan. Since he served in the military in his early years, his military career has endowed his blades with a masculine touch. His works not only possess a fierce tactical style but also are highly imbued with a sense of modern industrial design and a futuristic feel.
Most of his blades use materials like G-10, carbon fiber, and kydex to make the handles, and he likes to incorporate LED lights inside the handles, which can shine forward onto the blade. Although he claims that it’s for illumination when cutting in dim conditions, in fact, it’s more to showcase his unique and independent design ideas and style.
