This knife is designed by Todd Rexford, a master of North American tactical folding knives. It’s one of the most popular models among ZT products. Despite going through several upgrades over the years, it has always maintained excellent ergonomics and a great fast-opening experience. In terms of lock-up, smoothness of blade deployment, weight and other aspects, the 0801 is probably one of the best mass-produced fast-opening folding knives available. Its blade design favors penetration performance. It’s made of S35VN steel with a stonewashed surface finish.
