One of the World’s Famous Knives – Winkler

The founder of Winkler, Daniel Winkler, served in the U.S. Special Forces when he was young. After retiring from the military, he became a full-time knife maker. Due to spending a long time on the U.S. border and having contact with Native American Indians, his knives carry a certain Native American style. He really started to become famous because of an American Western movie titled “The Last of the Mohicans” in 1992. He was invited by the movie crew to make battle axes for the film. Since 2004, he has been providing custom-made knives and tactical axes for the most elite combat units in the United States.
